Event Management involves lots of imagination, creativity, managing skills and ability to transform a concept into a successful event. It starts from conceptualising an event, then moves to proper planning and finally executing the event. An event can be get together party, wedding ceremony or award function. In broader way, it can be launching a product or a person or a sport event or a conference.

Event Management includes many tasks like selection of the site, its decoration, food arrangements, sitting arrangements, other layouts, entertainment, sequence of events, etc. So one must be creative, imaginative, hard working, good communicator and efficient coordinator & manager.

Event Management does not require special training but as per the job requirements candidates completed course in Public Relations, Marketing or Advertising has better options.
