Veterinarian
Veterinary Science is related with the study of animal diseases and their cure which involves both the medical and surgical form of treatment. It also includes the breeding and scientific rearing of livestock.
Veterinarians treat sick and injured animals, livestock and pets. They also help to protect human beings from the diseases carried out by animals such as rabies through research. They may help prevent the outbreak of animal diseases such as rabies which can be transmitted to humans. Veterinarians also help to control diseases transmitted through food products produced through animals like eggs, meat, milk.
Courses:
Bachelor in Veterinary Science (B.V. Sc.) or Bachelor in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V. Sc. & AH).
