Travel Agent

Travel agents provide consultation to clients on travel destinations, weather conditions and recreational activities, help to hire for rental cars, suggest places to eat and  events to join or travel insurance. They also help arrange visas and passports, and give advice on customs guidelines, vaccinations, and money exchange.

They have to keep themselves upto date about various types of information related to travel and tourism industry and hotel and hospitality industry, contact airlines, make reservations at hotels and resorts, keep up with travel and customs restrictions.

A travel Agent can specialise in particular domain e.g. airline or hotel booking. He can find employment in travel agencies or start his own business.
