Civil engineering is one of the oldest fields of engineering which deals with construction of physical structures for both public and private sector like buildings, roads, bridges etc. All ancient & historical buildings are examples of civil engineering.

Civil engineers work with construction companies as well as civil departments for central and state governments. Depending on career stage they have to work on monitoring small project, manage complex design projects or provide consultancy.

B.E. Civil engineering is a 4-year undergraduate degree combining the basics of engineering principles with civil engineering theory and practices .
