Q - I am have a 44% in B.A. from MJPRU Please tell me eligibility for B.Ed. for your information I am a Govt. Worker in Education Department

- Mr. Varshney

Answer:

According to the NCTE’s norms and standards, candidates(other than reserved category
candidates) with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s degree or any other qualification equivalent are eligible for admission in full time B.Ed. programme.
However, this percentage or selection process may differ.

UP state department had declared minimum eligibility percentage of 50 percent(general category) for B.Ed. 2010 Joint entrance examination in Uttar Pradesh. But a petition was filed later on in Allahabad High Court against this decision.

To know the exact status of the case and to find out any other relaxation in the qualifying marks, you should contact with the concerned authority.
