You can take up M.Sc. course and can specialise in microbiology in any field of your interest such as medical microbiology, industrial microbiology, food microbiology, agriculture microbiology, marine microbiology, applied microbiology.  If like, you can further move on to Ph.D. or post doctoral studies.
Microbiology is applied in various fields of science. You can also consider career in research in related science field. Some related work areas are medical, pharmaceutical, agriculture, food, and environment.
