Q - I have completed B.Sc with math,phys,comp.science.I wish to pursue M.Tech in electrical/power.How should i approach from the non-engineering background?How much the demand of power engineering in the field of job?

Since you are from non-engineering background, you can try to seek admission in M.Tech  electrical/power through GATE exam. First, get a Master’s degree in related field and then appear in GATE exam. You can also apply for GATE exam after doing AMIE. However, admission depends on eligibility criteria of the institutions in which you apply to seek admission.
Power engineering is related to power generation, transmission, and distribution. Career opportunities exist in various sectors like power, transportation, construction, industrial, mining.
