Both marketing and banking jobs have their own positives and negatives. Marketing job is very challenging. But entry may be easy if you are good at handling things. Remuneration for entrants may not be very attractive. Job may require lots of traveling, field work and dealing with people. You can start with a small job and then move ahead to better ones. If do well and succeed, possibilities of going higher are more. Job switch over may be easy.
For banking job, you will have to prepare and work hard to clear exams. Job is comparatively a bit less challenging; a bit repetitive and office based, usually. It includes routine banking activities and also ancillary banking activities like insurance, personal loans, corporate banking, investment, etc. Accountability level is different. You may need to work in various departments and get familiar with various operations and activities. Promotion chances are predefined and limited. However, more opportunities are there for officers with excellent performance record.
Now you decide what is better for you; HR/marketing or banking.
