Q - Sir,i am +2 Humanities student.whether i am eligible for b.com.what are the other courses i can opt.

- Eldho

Answer:

Universities/colleges may allow candidates coming from non-commerce group to apply for BCom programme. However, usually, it is allowed after imposing penalty i.e. deduct some marks for calculation of effective percentage. Thus, to be eligible a non-commerce group applicant needs to have  higher marks in comparison to  commerce group applicants. Additionally, there may be another condition that applicant should have studied mathematics and/or economics or other specified subjects in 10+2.
So, you may be eligible for BCom in few colleges but not everywhere. Better contact colleges/universities and check cut-offs and eligibility criteria.
You can consider BBA, BBS, BCA or any other course you like and eligible for. You have so many good courses in arts and humanities too. But first be clear about what to want to choose as career.
