To obtain a Commercial Pilot Licence, you should get enrolled for training with a valid flying club or training institute approved by DGCA. A flying training organisation trains students according to DGCA rules and guidelines. To apply one must have passed 10+2 with physics and mathematics. Once a candidate completes basic training and few hours of flying and on clearing tests and examination, he/she gets Student Pilot Licence.  After further training and flying experience(which includes solo flight experience and cross-country flight time too), on completion of written examinations and competency tests, one gets Commercial Pilot Licence. A medical examination is also conducted by a medical board to establish medical fitness.
