Q - I have done my plus two in bio science. What should I do to become a geologist or oceanographer?

Answer:

To become a geologist, join a BSc Geology course. Thereafter, get a Master degree in Geology/Applied Geology/ Geo-exploration/Mineral exploration/ Marine Geology/Oceanography or other related field. 
Later, you can appear in UPSC - Geologist Examination and work with Geological Survey of India as a Geologist.
You can also work with companies working in construction or exploration fields; research institutes,mining, oil and gas, power sector, ocean drilling companies,  DRDO, groundwater departments, disaster management centers.
